Hibiki 17 years old

Available in Sassine Branch

The Hibiki 17 Year Old Blended Whisky is made from a combination of malt whiskies from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, as well as grain whisky from the Chita distillery. The whisky is then aged for a minimum of 17 years in a combination of American white oak casks, sherry casks, and Japanese Mizunara oak casks. The resulting whisky is a symphony of flavors and aromas, with notes of honey, vanilla, and oak on the nose, and flavors of dried fruit, caramel, and spice on the palate. The Mizunara oak casks in particular impart a unique flavor profile to the whisky, with hints of sandalwood, incense, and Japanese spice.
A world renowned Japanese blend, Hibiki 17 Year Old is made with aged malt and grain whiskies from Suntory’s distilleries. Initially released in 1989, the blend is matured in Japanese mizunara oak casks at Yamazaki. Hibiki means harmony, which has certainly been achieved in this wonderful and iconic blend.
