Liquid Sounds Sundays: The Sunday Ritual Continues
Liquid Sounds at The Cask & Barrel – The Sunday Ritual Continues!
Beirut, the beat goes on – and it’s only getting better.
Liquid Sounds Sundays at The Cask & Barrel Downtown have officially established itself as the reason to stay out on a Sunday. This week’s edition – our third Sunday in – brought the same electric energy, new faces, and unforgettable vibes.

DJ Patt kicked off the night and instantly set the tone. Known for her signature style that blends melodic house and deep grooves, she brought her magic behind the decks and took the room on a journey. It wasn’t just music—it was a mood. Patt’s set was masterfully curated, shifting from hypnotic rhythms to soulful highs, connecting with the crowd in every beat. The dance floor was moving, heads were nodding, and that unmistakable feeling of “this is where I need to be” filled the air.
Then came DJ AZZ, and things escalated fast. He brought the fire and the fun, keeping the momentum going late into the night. His transitions were smooth, his energy magnetic, and the crowd? Completely hooked. There wasn’t a still body in sight. This wasn’t just another DJ set – this was a dance-floor takeover.

Just when you thought the vibe couldn’t get better, a live saxophonist Jimmy, also known as J SAX, jumped in layering silky melodies over AZZ’s beats. The mix of deep house and live sax gave the night a spontaneous, soulful edge — and the room swayed with every note.
And as always, it wasn’t just about the music. It was about the full Liquid Sounds experience.
This Sunday’s guest bartender, the talented Laerti Gkini (Bar Manager at Upupa Epops The Bar), served up cocktail artistry at its finest. His signature menu was a lineup of liquid creativity – from the bright, herbaceous Cool Cat to the smoky-smooth Hazel Sour, and the dangerously fun Peach Please, every sip was a discovery.

What elevates the night even more? Dinner at The Cask & Barrel.

Guests didn’t just come for the music – they came to dine. Tables filled with shareable bites and “party perfect platters” that lived up to the name. From Chicken Hibiki Katsu Sliders to Tacos ‘N’ Tequila Shrimps and the elegant Scottish Cheese Board, the plates were as much a highlight as the DJ sets. Whether you were grazing between cocktails or sitting down for a full-on dinner, the menu hit every mark.
By the end of the night, full bellies, buzzing heads, and glowing smiles said it all. This wasn’t just a party – it was a perfect Sunday evening.
Same time next week? You know it.
Book your table now – the Liquid Sounds ritual continues.
